Kimi shook her head. "No, I don't really mind telling. My mother moved to the Mist Village when I was really young. I visit her occasionally when I get the chance, but I stay in Konoha for the most part, since it's where I was brought up."
She wondered if people thought she was weird or different because of it, but she didn't ask Sakura. She would have to wait and find out for herself.

“Wow, it must be difficult traveling back in forth, but I admire you for that!” Sakura stated, twirling her hair between her index and middle fingers. She quickly grinned as to not be rude.
Another question popped inside her mind. “Again, if you don’t mind me asking, how did you know about my team?” The thought certainly was a big question to Sakura. She wondered if the whole village knew. She already knew how the Leaf village was informed of Sasuke’s leaving, she flinched at the name, but did that mean they knew about the rest of Team 7 as well?

Kimi hesitated before answering. She didn't want to talk about Sakura's lost teammate, because she already knew it would be painful to lose someone like that. But, it was how she knew her team.
"I heard about one of your teammates leaving Konoha, Saskue I think it was... well, I didn't know he was in the same team as you then, but later I figured it out when everyone was buzzing about it... I couldn't help but overheard your name and Naruto, so I figured he was in the same team as well."

"Oh..." Sakura's voice trailed off before quickly showing a half-hearted smile. It was more forced than nessasary; she slightly sweatdropped, worried Kimi would see right through it. Then again, if Naruto couldn't, she probably would end up with the same results.
Attempting to disable the currently connected memories, she babbled out the first question that came to mind. "So where's your teammates?"

Kimi's eyebrows creased with worry and confusion at Sakura's first expression. She was about to ask her about it, but soon dropped the idea once Sakura asked about her own teammates.
"They're most likely back at the village, goofing off somewhere." She shook her head. Kimi had always been the most determined and dedicated one of the three. "Sometimes they can really get on my nerves, but I try to ignore it for the most part."

(Wanna go doggy hunt? xD) Pakkun walks in the forest of Death while thinking about what possibly could have happened. His mind is full with questions because he doesn’t quite understand the situation. He just knows Kakashi was serious about the matter and now he disappeared. He and some Konoha ninja found traces of a fight and he had recognized the smell of Kakashi real clearly. Pakkun had followed the scent just ‘till a place where it was really strong. It was pointing out Kakashi had laid there, but the other scent of a male he didn’t know came back there. After that, it was a dead end. It was like they teleported it seemed to Pakkun. ¨Or the guy who fought Kakashi suddenly got wings and flew away¨ he mumbles out loud with a sarcastic tone, not knowing how close it is to the truth. It’s all big mystery, because upon that, in the beginning there were 4 scents. Kakashi who was at the side of the Hero’s memorial stone and another who stood in front of the memorial stone, which he assumed was Tikani who went missing too. After that, there only remained 2 scents, the unknown ninja and Kakashi. While Pakkun tries to figure what happened, he hears voices closeby. He actually came in the forest of Death because of it's reputation. People wouldn't enter the forest of death without thinking twice about it. Here, he can mourn, think without any disturbance. Just being alone for a moment.
He stays put and listens if he has been already detected.

Sakura laughed. "Yeah, my teammates tend to irritate me too, but I still love 'em!" She continued giggling, thinking about the old and new times with all her different partners. They were all such fun.
Stopping in her tracks, Sakura's head tilted around to face the other direction. A familiar presence lingered nearby until she finally recognized it, a grin crossing her lips. "Hey Pakkun! Long time no see!"

Kimi stopped walking after Sakura did, puzzled at first. But she felt the presence too, and it made her feel relieved that she knew who it was.
Her eyebrows crinkled with confusion. "Pakkun?" She'd never seen nor heard of him before. She looked at Sakura, then looked into the woods to try and spot who she was talking about.

Sai appeared in front of Sakura in a puff of smoke. He opened his mouth to say something to her but Pakkun and the blonde Kunoichi caught his eye. He bowed to them slightly in greeting and respect before turning back to Sakura. "Eh, Sakura-San, have you seen Kakashi-Sensei today?"

Pakkun stays a bit back and waits with his answer. He slowly starts walking towards Sakura, out of the leaves which covered him. But before he appears, Sai appears in a puff of smoke and he leaps in the air. He jumps behind a big rock to hide himself and hears Sai asking about Kakashi. Pakkun raises his head so it's to be seen above the rock. "Hey Sakura" he says dryly while he goes and sit on the rock while looking at Sakura, Sai and Kimi. His gaze stops by Kimi because he doesn't know her. Then he leaps on the ground and he glares over to Sai. "You could give someone a heart attack with such a sudden appearance Sai" scolds Pakkun, but with a teasing smile/look (as far as dogs can smile =/). Suddenly he remembers the current situation and he turns serious again. "I assume you guys haven't heard it then?" he says while looking around.

Sakura slightly sweatdropped, staring blankly at Sai. “How’d you find me?” she finally managed to ask, trying to break her silent streak. She completely forgot about Pakkun. Once he jumped out as well, she nearly fainted.
Suddenly, Pakkun’s statement rang through her ears. I assume you guys haven’t heard it yet? A puzzled look came across her face. Was that what Sai was asking about? Did something happen to Kakashi-sensei?
“Heard what?” she questioned, looking at the dog in front of her.

Kimi tryed not to seem overwhelmed with the two new faces, but she knew neither of them. She gasped and stopped walking abruptly when the black-haired boy appeared in front of them, and then turned to looked down upon the dog Sakura had called Pakkun. She waited for the dog's answer, curious to know what the news was.

Sai shrugged at Sakura's question, then turning his attention to Pakkun. "I apologize for the abrupt appearance, Pakkun-San. But, what is going on?"

Pakkun raises his head and sighs sadly. "To put it simple; two jounin leaf ninjas are missing, Natsuko Tikani and Hatake Kakashi. I don't know what happened, or at least not the reasons nor the details. We know for sure that there were ninja involved who are very skilled, because Tikani and Kakashi aren't to be taken lightly" says Pakkun in a sad voice. He stares down because his nose failed him that time, while investigating.

Sakura glanced from Kimi to Sai before landing her eyes lastly on Pakkun, feeling immediate sympathy for him. Here she was, busy skipping around in some forest, while a small dog worked his tail off searching for his master. Poor guy…
“Don’t worry,” she replied in a soothing voice, kneeling beside Pakkun. Sakura slightly hesitated – remembering his vicious bite – before gently petting his soft fur. “We’ll all look for Kakashi-sensei together, right?” she looked back up at Sai with pleading eyes.
